PRESENTATION OF THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
The Department of Electrical Systems Engineering is one of the 04 departments created following the restructuring of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences, by decree N ° 567 of June 11, 2017 creating the departments composing the FSI, it comes from the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department created in 1998 “Ministerial Order N°79”

The ISE department has a programme that focuses on providing the modern knowledge of electrical systems engineering, necessary for specialists in the development of modern electrical systems, to develop the ability to apply professional knowledge. Students will acquire specific knowledge in the engineering of electrical power systems, necessary for the application of modern technologies and the independent development of new products and services, and perform applied research in the field of electrical power system engineering. To develop the abilities to creatively apply theoretical knowledge and the results of scientific investigations, and to improve professional competence when learning to live together,
Students will learn :
- Highly specialised knowledge in the field of electrical engineering systems related to research and development of new products and services, required in the development.
- An ability to independently develop, maintain and improve modern electrical power systems.
- Skills to select and use mathematical methods, software and hardware to solve problems in electrical engineering systems, and to analyse and interpret the results.
THE EMPLOYMENT SECTOR:
Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Systems Engineering can be found in most industrial and service fields, in large industrial groups as well as in small and medium-sized companies.
